Here at MW Press, we are happy to announce the first client of our publishing house!
Chad Whybrew is a debuting
author who spent his early life in the rural South playing football, chasing
girls, and otherwise getting into ridiculous situations, which has given him the
ideas needed to write outrageous and somewhat offensive stories like Wingman:
College Craze and Wingman: Rise of Chet—both of which are being
released in March 2025.
From Wingman: College
Craze: “When college freshman Grayson West cracks open a magical beer can,
he releases a wingman—Chet, a frat angel who promises to help him win the girl
of his dreams. But Grayson will soon learn that dreams aren’t perfect and
neither is his wingman. To get his life back on track, Grayson must now stumble
through college to learn the value of friendship, family, and happiness—all
while Chet attempts to lower his purity score by throwing parties, inciting
riots, and humiliating the DIKs of Frat Row.”
From Wingman: Rise of
Chet: “Witness the rise of the man, the myth, the legend—all before he
becomes the wingman… Chet Burrah is a rising football star—even if nobody else
knows it yet. Walking on to the Beacon Montgomery University football team,
Chet knows that he just has to outwork everybody else to succeed. That means
hitting the gym and perfecting Mach-7, his homemade pre-workout mix. As he sees
it, his future is going to be so bright, he has to wear shades. And he never
takes them off. His only problem is choosing which fraternity he wants to join
and which classes to fall asleep in… while causing trouble for his professors,
teammates, and frat brothers.”
Chad learned his craft
while reading parodies and satires, so it comes as no surprise that his
inspirations for writing include Chris Miller, Terry Pratchett, and John
Scalzi. Chad fully admits that he expects his stories to piss some people off,
but only while everybody else is laughing.
